Douglas also has a book on Native American Archery entitled 'MAKING INDIAN BOWS AND ARROWS...THE OLD WAY', containing hundreds of photos, and information on how any beginner can make historically accurate bows and arrows and a small book entitled 'MAKING INDIAN ARROWS.......THE OLD WAY', which explains arrow making in a traditional manner, as well as having contemporary tips for making deadly and accurate arrows, or simply how to make beautiful conversation pieces.  In "Making Indian Bows and Arrows....The Old Way," there are photos of Douglas when he was very young, with the first buffalo he took with a primitive bow and arrow, proving the methodology shown in his book. Both books are historical studies of Native American archery with dozens of historical resources. Both are published by Eagle's View publishing of Ogden, Utah.
