than 10,000 members of NARAS, who will submit their final choices.

Tom Bee and I are extremely proud to have been given the opportunity
to produce the Gathering of Nations recordings for the past 10
years. This past Gathering (2000) was our last time of recording
this great event, and I wish Derek Mathews and his family great
success in recording it in the future. There might be another Grammy
nomination in there!

As we move towards this historic event, it's important that all
people recognize the beauty in the recognition of this music at long
last. While the music found on the recording is neither my music nor
that of Tom Bee, we cannot express enough gratitude to those who
have helped us produce it. We've had many crews over the years, and
all of them are appreciated.
