Joshua, the center of my sky, has tragically left us. Born on September 10, 1984, he will never be forgotten for all of the loved ones he left behind. Josh loved his horses, cooking, movies, and playing percussion with his friends and I. He entertained his bus mates daily with his bongos. Josh traveled worldwide, sharing the stage with me, making music, and sweetening the lives of all those whose paths he crossed.  At the time of his death, he had performed in 5 countries, in front of hundreds of thousands of people. He also had played with symphonies and orchestras, performing as a percussionist. On the VOICES OF NATIVE AMERICA tours, he acted as an assistant stage manager, pyrotechnician, and production assistant. He also performed with the NATIVE RITES performing arts tour as a percussionist. Joshua made special relationships with everyone he met. Everyone loved him because of his smile, laughter, and the special attention he paid to people. His nickname was "Ronald McDonald", because he was always clowning around.
Josh and I enjoyed a relationship unlike that of most father/son relationships. Me and Josh traveled together, made music together, and spent most of our waking moments together. One of our special times was when Josh would check out of school and we'd go to lunch. Josh was creating drum and percussion parts for my new record project when he left this world.
He was a rider in the Tooele Bit and Spur Riding Club. Joshua is survived by his special mom, Linda , and by his father, dad, and close friend,   Douglas Spotted Eagle.  He also leaves behind a sister, Amanda.

Special thanks to all those who supported, loved, helped, and knew Joshua in his life and in his passing.

The drums heard in the back ground are generated from a midifile created by Josh just a few days before his death.
